Book Blogger Hop June 11-14

Kudos to Jennifer at Crazy for Books for hosting the Book Blogger Hop every Friday. If you are stopping by on the hop, I hope you'll take a moment to look around.  I hope you will like what you see!  Please leave a comment so I know you were here, and I will return the visit.

Orientation:  Bibliophiliac is a place where I write about books and the reading life.  I call myself a passionate, voracious reader, a devourer of books.  I read and write about mostly literary fiction and poetry, but I  also touch on the wider world of books and book lovers.  I also write about my life as a teacher, and occasionally whatever else strikes my fancy.  I have discovered many wonderful book blogs, and even more wonderful people, through book blogs.  I have found that book bloggers are generally passionate and dedicated readers, but also funny, fun, and generous.

At the moment I'm nearly finished with Jude Morgan's Passion, then I have to read The Hunger Games because Ashley said so. I'm going to be reading Don Quixote with Stu over at Winstonsdad's Blog,  I have Justin Cronin's The Passage on my bedside table, and Wolf Hall, A Gate at the Stairs, and many more are on my TBR pile.  Okay, I have a TBR bookcase.  Thank goodness for summer break!

Hunger Games is so so sooo incredibly good, I know you'll love it!

And as for The Passage, I'm jealous you have it! I have been drooling over that book something fierce, pretty sure I'm off to buy a copy tomorrow :)

Just hopping by! Get ready for Hunger Games-I swear it's like crack. One hit and you keep coming back for more. I'm wishing now that I had waited until this summer to read the first two so I wouldn't have had to wait so long for the third coming out in August.

Hi Lisa, thanks visiting my blog. We have a lot in common - on June 23 I will retire from 37 years in teaching - HS English and a district position coordinating Language Arts and Library Media. After my retirement date I plan to really step up my blogging, so I'll be following your own progress. I love your goals!
