Book Blogger Hop August 20-23

This week's question:  How many blogs do you follow?  I'm almost embarrassed to report that I now follow over 300 blogs--how did that happen?  I use Google Reader to skim through blog posts, pretty much on a daily basis.  Sometimes I conscientiously comment.  Sometimes I just have too much going on in my life.  At certain points in the school year (beginning of the school year, end of grading periods, etc.) there is no time for anything but work and sleep.  Just now I'm struggling to keep up with short posts and skimming Google Reader.  This was our first week of classes at my public high school--so naturally I feel a little overwhelmed.  This weekend I plan to catch my breath, read, do some planning for next week, and visit some blogs on The Book Blogger Hop.  If you are visiting from the hop, please leave a comment so I can return the visit.  If you've never participated in the hop, check out Crazy Jennifer's blog Crazy for Books and find out how to join in.

I truly believe that blogging and following other blogs is its own full-time job! I'm right there with you in the number of blogs I follow, I think -- and I'm scared to even really see how many I have, so I applaud your fearlessness with that! :)

Came back to check up on your feet. Soak them and sleep! Enjoy the weekend girl.
PS I follow 20-30 and count yours as one for intellectual stimulation. Girl your reviews are food for my brain. Surviving is all that counts and I tip my hat to you as you inspire the future generation of writers :)

Lisa,
Thanks for leaving a comradely teacher comment on my blog!

I read your blog a minimum of three times a week. If you post more than that, I read it more. And I love it, and don't know what I would do without it. Hence, your listing on my blog as a "Blog of Substance."

My classes don't start until September 8! What's up with that? Our final exams run from December 21-December 23. Ugh!

I hope that your workload does not prevent you from your own, personal reading or from blogging about it here.

Best of wishes,
Judith (Reader in the Wilderness)
