The Craft of Story: Interview with Gregory Spatz

I had the pleasure of reviewing Gregory Spatz's short story collection Half as Happy back in April, and I was so taken with the stories that I contacted Spatz for an interview. He could not have been more friendly or accommodating, and we conducted an interview via email. The interview really happened because I was so impressed with the craft of Greg's writing, and I was interested in how his stories worked. After many emails back and forth, I was very pleased with the interview, and hoped it could have a larger audience than my modest little blog. Enter another splendidly nice writer, David Abrams, author of Fobbit, a novel.

David has a blog called The Quivering Pen, and my interview with Greg Spatz was featured there the other day, which pleases me more than I can say. Please visit David's blog and give my interview with Greg a read, then let me know what you think!

Your interview has inspired me to look for this book, particularly since the author is also a musician. Thanks.
