Book Blogger Hop August 13-16

My TBR pile is best imagined as a vast, limitless library--a dimly lit room the ends of which cannot be seen.  The list of books I intend to read is endlessly expanding; it exists in teetering piles on tables around the house, in one bookcase in a corner of my office, in lists in the notebooks I carry in my purse.  I can hardly open my eyes without putting another book on my list.  Obsession, compulsion, ailment, bibliophilia is just one of my addictions--but I don't want to be cured.  That's why I have this blog, and I've discovered hundreds of like-minded people, many or most of them through the Book Blogger Hop!  Thanks to Jennifer at Crazy for Books, book-crazy is the new normal!

If you are crazy for books, visiting from the blog hop, or just stumbled on this blog, please leave a comment and I will return the visit.

Hi there, just hopping by. Have a great weekend (although I know you'll probably be spending a lot of it getting ready for school.)

I have the same problem with obtaining new books for my to-read-list. It's like I turn around, go to the library, check out the blogs and OMG, there's another two books that sound interesting I should read!

Fabulous, fabulous answer :)

Just came over to say hi! Have a great weekend.

I think 'crazy is the new normal' will be my motto from now on! :) It's so reassuring that everyone in the blogging sphere has an extensive to-read list and buys too many books (my friends always stare at me like I've gone a bit mental when I tell them how many unread ones I have).

I stumbled upon your blog a few weeks ago and have visited just about daily since. I too am a book lover. I blog at http://www.gramsmadeit.blogspot.com. It not about books, although I do occasionally talk about reading, books and my book club, The Book Snobs, http://thebooksnobs.blogspot.com.

dropping by to say "tis FRIDAY"! Will do the light fantastic at this late time before I jump off to watch something absolutely mindless on TV. Actually there's a meteor shower that is quite spectacular... so will watch that instead... I protest my eyes need a rest from all the reading ;)

I have a theory that books breed when you're not looking... My books are taking over my house, my wishlist is getting longer by the minute, and I'm starting to get twitchy if I don't acquire a book on a regular enough basis. I think I may have an actual clinical addiction! Good to know I ain't alone... :-)
